The Service at tecron.be (the “Service”) is operated by Tecron,
established in Belgium (company / VAT number: BE0833267216; registered address:
Molenstraat 8, 2590 Berlaar) (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at
admin@tecron.be.
The Service is a personal and household budgeting tool. It lets you record budgets, import bank statements, and — if you choose — connect your bank accounts to automatically retrieve your balances and transactions on a read-only basis, so they can be categorised against your budget. The Service does not initiate payments or move money.
Bank connectivity works through your own account with open-banking.io, a service operated by Tatic ApS (Denmark), which provides regulated account information services under PSD2. We are not an Account Information Service Provider and hold no such authorisation: we read the accounts you have linked using credentials you supply.
We rely on the data your bank and open-banking.io supply, and do not guarantee it is complete, accurate or up to date. If we ever add another way to connect a bank account, we will say so in the Service, and where that changes these terms, section 12 applies.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including not to: access accounts or data that are not yours; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The Service relies on third parties (including open-banking.io (Tatic ApS), Anthropic, Stripe, Resend, Twilio and our hosting provider). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers’ terms. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is a paid subscription. There is no free tier. Your account starts with a 7-day free trial, and we do not ask for payment details to begin it. The trial begins when you first sign in, not when you register — so if your registration is waiting for approval, none of the seven days is spent while you wait.
The subscription costs €9.99 per month, VAT included. That is the total you pay. For business customers in another EU member state who supply a valid VAT number, the supply is reverse-charged and the same €9.99 is payable with no VAT added by us. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The price is shown again before you confirm, and we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change, which you can decline by cancelling.
The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate part-months. Cancelling stops future charges and does not delete your data.
Your data stays yours and stays visible. When a trial ends without a subscription, or a subscription lapses, the Service becomes read-only: you can still sign in, look at everything and export it, but you cannot add or change entries until you subscribe again. We do not delete your data because you stopped paying.
If you are a consumer — a private individual acting outside your trade or profession — you have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. We honour it: tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. Email admin@tecron.be; no form or reason is required. We do not ask you to waive this right.
This is a consumer right and does not apply to business customers. Beyond the withdrawal period, payments for a period already begun are not refunded, except where the law requires it or where we have failed to provide the Service.
Invoices are available in the app and from Stripe. Where VAT applies, the invoice shows the amount and the rate.
The Service is an informational budgeting tool. It does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it should be relied upon as such. Decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data displayed will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by Belgian law, Tecron shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from inaccurate or incomplete financial data, service interruptions, or decisions taken in reliance on the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the relevant provisions above (including disclaimers and limitation of liability) survive.
We may update the Service and these terms. Each version of this document carries a version identifier (shown at the top), and the version you accepted when you created your account is recorded against it.
We will tell you by email before a material change takes effect, and will ask you to accept the new version. If you do not, you can cancel; we will not treat silence as agreement to a materially worse bargain. Minor corrections that do not change your rights or what you pay take effect when posted, with a new “Last updated” date.
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. The courts of
Mechelen have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any
mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
