Terms of Service

Operated by Tecron · Last updated: 27 July 2026

Please read these terms before using the Service. By creating an account or connecting a bank account, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

The Service at tecron.be (the “Service”) is operated by Tecron, established in Belgium (company / VAT number: BE0833267216; registered address: 2590 Berlaar) (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at admin@tecron.be.

2. The Service

The Service is a personal and household budgeting tool. It lets you record budgets, import bank statements, and — if you choose — connect your bank accounts to automatically retrieve your balances and transactions on a read-only basis, so they can be categorised against your budget. The Service does not initiate payments or move money.

3. Eligibility and your account

4. Bank connections and consent

Bank connectivity is provided through Enable Banking, a licensed Account Information Service Provider, under PSD2. When you connect an account you authorise read-only access to your account information via your bank’s secure authentication. You can withdraw that consent at any time, in the Service or with your bank. We rely on the data your bank and Enable Banking provide and do not guarantee it is complete, accurate or up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including not to: access accounts or data that are not yours; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (including Enable Banking, Anthropic, Stripe, Resend, Twilio and our hosting provider). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers’ terms. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Fees and subscriptions

Some features may be offered free of charge and others via a paid subscription. Where a paid plan applies, pricing and billing are shown at sign-up and processed by Stripe. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, payments are non-refundable, and you can cancel a subscription to stop future charges.

8. No financial advice

The Service is an informational budgeting tool. It does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it should be relied upon as such. Decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data displayed will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Belgian law, Tecron shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from inaccurate or incomplete financial data, service interruptions, or decisions taken in reliance on the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the relevant provisions above (including disclaimers and limitation of liability) survive.

12. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms. Material changes to the terms take effect when we post the updated version (with a new “Last updated” date); continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. The courts of Mechelen have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
